Premium Peanut Feeder Seed Feeder Set.

This set is from a premium collection of wild bird food feeding products.

Contents

1 Premium Seed Feeder.

1 Premium Nut Feeder.

1 Free Hanging Hook to hang the feeders together.

Description

The feeders are made from robust materials for weather protection.

The hanger and peanut feeder mesh are made from Stainless Steel for long life protection against the elements. Under each feeder is a screw thread which can be used to attach the included hook to cascade the feeders. The feeders can be cascaded in any order. Alternatively they may be screwed onto a pole, sold separately. Each feeder has its own hanger that you can use to hang the feeder, this could be a tree branch, nail, hook or feeding station. The hangers fold down for easy storage.

The seed feeder is made from tough and durable 1.4mm Polycarbonate - good for all weather use.

The feeder bottoms are simple to remove for easy cleaning.

To fill the feeders extend the hangar to full height, slide the lid upwards then it will fold to the side allowing full and unobstructed access to the feeder for filling.

The peanut feeder mesh and seed feeder holes are optimised for wild bird feeding.

Where to site the new feeders

Birds need to feel safe when feeding. Site your new feeders so that they provide all round vision to its visitors and ideally not more than 1.8M ( 6 foot ) from convenient cover such as trees and shrubs. If you are replacing an old feeder, leave it in place until the bords become accostomed to the new one; this could take several weeks.

When to feed

The wild birds in your garden will appreciate being fed all year round. This will especially help them in winter months when natural foods are scarce and during nesting season when they are busy feeding their young.

Feeder Hygene

Please follow these hygene rules to reduce the risk of infections

  • It is recommended by the RSPB that you clean and wash your hanging feeders regularly using a 5%disinfectant solution and then rinse thoroughly afterwards.
  • Wash your hands after handling the feeder.

The free cleaning brush has a flexible shaft for easy cleaning of tubular feeders.

Wild Bird Seed and Peanuts not included.
